enjoyed a long successful career as recitalist and orchestra soloist as well as composing. He was married to soprano Alma Gluck and their son is actor Efrem Zimbalist Jr. His long association with the Curtis Institute started in
1928 and he remained there as professor. He married the school's founder Mary Louise Curtis Bok 5 years after Gluck's death in 1938. There is corner and border loss to the photo otherwise fine. $125 |
