GEORGI NELEPP (1904 - 1957) Was the great dramatic tenor of the mid Soviet period. A singer of immense popularity though evidently a bit unstable. The statue pictures him as SADKO, one of his greatest roles (recorded> & was manufactured by the Dimitrov Porcelain Factory of the Moscow region c. 1950's. 14" high & a stunning example of this genre ***$1475*** |
