recently had the honor to meet you at Gehiemrat Carus's house, you mentioned that you wish to take on a promising young girl
who has already had some voice lessons for further studies. I have now heard such a young lady and am convinced that she is
worthy of the chance to be trained for the stage under your tutelage. The girl is 15 years old, the daughter of a midwife,
and so fare has had a general education. Should you, Honored Madame, share my opinion and take this girl under your wing, I
would ask you to get in touch with her and her mother-A few lines addressed to me would give the mother courage to get in
touch with you in writing or call on you in person with her daughter so that you can meet her With sincere esteem. I am,
Respectfully yours, Tichactschek"
