BUNLET, Marcelle- SP 5 x 7 sepia shot as Isolde at La Monnaie which she sang opposite Urlus in his final performances
as Tristan. Bunlet sang Kundry under Toscanini at Bayreuth 1931 and was the first French Arabella. Big career during the
20s-ealy 40s singing all the big roles- Alceste, Dukas's Ariane, Valentin, Donna Anna etc. SCARCE
CALLAS, Maria- SP 6 x 6 action shot as Medea from the Covent Garden production clearly signed on the dark background
ink has an iridescent reddish caste
CARON, Rose- post card image by Dupont as Marguerite in Faust on 5 x 7" mount d/s 1902 by the creator of Reyer's Sigurd
(Brunenild) & Salammbo, Godard's Jocelyn The important soprano also created most of the great Wagner roles in France and
appeared in all the great classical roles for dramatic soprano. Rare recording
CINTI- DAMOREAU, Laure- ALS 1 p in French from the great French soprano creator of Rossini's Il Viaggio a Reims, Le
Siege a Corinthe, Moise et Paharaon (a reworking of Mose en Egitto), Le Comte Ory & Guilliame Tell + Meyerbeers' Robert le
Diable, Auber's La Muette de Portici, Cherubini's Ali Baba etc etc etc. As well as singing in Paris she toured North
America, Russia and other European centers and afterward taught passing on what she had learned from Catalani! Her
signature also appears on the address leaf of the letter-so there are 2 signatures
CINTI-DAMOREAU, Laure- splendid color tinted lithograph of the soprano as Delie in Ali Baba one of her many

de HIDALGO, Elvira- SP 5 x 8 sepia photo as Rosina B.Aires 1914- young, slim with a twinkle in her eye. She enjoyed a
great international career as leading a coloratura from 1908-1936 but, of course , will always be remembered as Callas's
most influential teacher and influence throughout her career. QUITE SCARCE
di STEFANO, Giuseppe- SPc smiling portrait for Decca with Pippo's records listed verso Piccagliani photo as Edgardo
in Lucia d/s 1956 the year of the performances with Callas
DUX, Claire- SP 7 " x 11 "" bust shot d/s to Maestro (Piero) Coppola 1919 by the radiant looking silver voiced lyric
soprano married 3 times first to writer Imperatori, Hans Albers and in 1926 she hit the jackpot with Charles Swift the
Chicago meat packer and she lived for ever after in the windy city. GREAT RECORDINGS. SCARCE

1957. He as Falstaff and she as Alice Ford. Further on Giulietta SIMIONATO signs her full page photo as Quickly and
Rolando PANERAI signs the actual cast page. Karajan conducted! Interestring articles and information. Nice souvenir of a

GRISI, Giulia- ALS 1 page from the legendary 19th century DIVA creator of Bellini's Norma (Adalgisa) & I Puritani as
well as Donizetti's Ugo Conte di Parigi and to "Chere et belle Contesse- I have done all possible to engage Monsieurs
Tamburini and Rubini but it seems they are taken by Monsieur Cremieux but Rubini has promised me that if is able he will
come to see you during the evening. As for me I will be devoted to you dear and beautiful and very happy to spend some
hours with you the 20th of March - all the best G. Grisi" Nice attractive letter
KARL, Tom- unmounted sepia C d V style print of the Irish tenor from The Bohemian Girl laid down on 7 " x 9 " p
age d/s. Karl had a big Italian as well as English and Irish career and also appeared in North America. There is some
staining to the image but not bad at all and SCARCE
KRAUSS, Gabrielle- ALS 3 pp in Italian from the Viennese born soprano star of the Paris Opera where she debuted
in La Juive as well as most of the other great opera centers. Interesting, astute letter discussing press articles
and business including engagements- Trieste and S.Petersburg. Krauss created operas by Gounod, Saint Saens, Paladilhe
in Paris, Gome's Fosca at La Scala and Rossini's Petite Messe Solonelle. One of the 19th century's true greats learning
her craft from Marchesi and Lamperti
LEHMANN, Lotte- SP 5 x 7 photo signed " to remember February 16th 1951" which was of course the night of her
unforgettable unanounced NYC Town Hall Farewell recital. This photo shows her afterwards. GREAT SOUVENIR of a GREAT
EVENING thankfully available for all to hear
