often singing operas in those theatres for their local premieres from 1885- 1919 starting in South America and ending in Chicago where he then taught dying there in 1928. He
created a role in Franchetti's "Cristoforo Colombo" in Genova 1892 as well as Pistol in Verdi's "Falstaff" at La Scala. Some very rare recordings. This photo is dedicated to
