502. BRITTEN, Benjamin & PEARS, Peter - both sign flyleaf MOSCOW CHRISTMAS December 1966: a 9pp diary documenting their visit in the Soviet Union with the Rostropoviches. Much about music, musicians, e.g. Shotakovich etc. As stated on the flyleaf "This diary is left as it was written, unedited except for a few small excisions P.P." This was published privately and sent to friends as a gift. This copy belonged to Imogene Holst who also signed the page at top.
