*255. GARCIA, Josephine- ALS 4 pp to George Sand 23 Nov 1844 in which she goes into great length about Maurice Sand's visit to her daughter Pauline Viardot's house at Courtavenel and the "petites imprudences" that may have taken place. The letter is signed J Ve Garcia (Joaquina widow of Garcia). This particular letter is mentioned in a letter of Chopin to Sand 2 Dec 1844 -Correspondence Sand/Lubin, V1 lettre 3031,p 716
