and elsewhere. In 1914 he became the chief conductor at the Thomas A. Edison Recording Company with final say on what was recorded so he was able to
make many of the most interesting instrumental records yet done and he accompanied all the great singers including Muzio in her legendary takes. When
he left Edison in 1925 he went to radio first to NBC then to Mutual where he conducted hundreds of opera and symphony broadcasts. He led the Mendelssohn
