I have no contact with any musicians, conducting ones or otherwise. All the soloists I liked or admired are dead as doornails. Same goes for singers and all though as human beings , I like Muti, Haitink and...no, I guess that's all. Oh, yes, and Levine. I like those three because they have been incredibly kind and friendly to me and because, on the rare occasions we have spent time together, it was great fun and we didn't talk about music. Also, they are not treacherous at least not concerning myself. You can see where my priorities lie, no?
