LORTZING, Albert- signed paper Leipzig 11 Febraur 1850 matted together with a nice portrait print 8 x 11 from the
German composer best remembered for Czar und Zimmermann and Der Wildschutz (among many others). Lortzing was a man of all
trades- tenor, actor, impresario, conductor and was all over the place during the first half of the 19th century and his
music epitomized the spirit and feeling of the German Romantic school. SCARCE
PIAZZOLA, Astor- SPc size color tinted photo of the Argentine tango composer in his younger days. Piazzola became, and
his music remains an international sensation and extremely popular. Very scarce

CEMBALO- Giuseppe VERDI. The soloists were Costanza Viale, Giuseppe Piantanida & Cajo Eckerlin. This is perhaps the very
first time that the young Verdi conducted and perhaps his first big break. VERY VERY RARE
